Everything Homemade is a family business in the Peace Region, 30 kilometres East of Grande Prairie. We raise our 6 children here, focusing on farm and homesteading activities, with the goal of being as self-sufficient as possible.
Our Story
John and I met in September 2005 and married in November 2005. Our lives changed rapidly after that. The Everything Homemade and Kitties Home Away From Home businesses developed over time without initial plans. I started the YouTube channel, Everything Homemade, 10 years ago to share my knowledge about homesteading, including baking, cooking, gardening, and raising animals. As the channel grew, Kitties Home Away From Home was established after we cat-sat for someone. It has since grown into a full-time business serving Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. My interest in teaching and writing led me to publish a clean romance novel series through Winged Publications, and subsequently, cookbooks and a gardening curriculum for children called Color and Learn Gardening which all the books are now available through Amazon.

Though I am more visible, my husband is essential behind the scenes, providing support and building the farm's infrastructure. He assists in various ways, contributing to the growth of these businesses. My children also help behind the scenes, making this teamwork crucial to our success.
