Sweet Siberian Watermelon is one of my favorites because it taste of sweet tropical fruits and grows well in our short growing season. This is a thin rind watermelon with a stricking orange flesh which is incredibly sweet. Best to start these plants indoors 8 weeks before transplanting outside. We are Zone 2 and the watermelon fruits are on average between 4 to 6 pounds! Theydo require full sun. Can be grown in or out of a greenhouse but highly requirement growing in a greenhouse if growing zone 3 or lower.
